migranes

i’ve watched my mom endure migranes on a weekly if not daily basis for as long as i can remember.  but today is the first time i experienced one for myself.

the discomfort.  throbbing.  eyes stabbed by the light. with every heartbeat my head throbbed in pain.

does anyone know what can cause  such headaches?

thats not an easy thing to do sometimes. i’ve seen the benefits of waiting and the heartache of reacting too soon.

you get an email that stirs all kinds of emotions and want to react by sending an email in like kind. but… just wait. give yourself a moment to process and think about the effects.

i was blessed 2 weeks ago with the ability to wait and find out “is this just a rock or a real issue?” it was just a rock and had i reacted immediately this relationship would have suffered a fatal injury. thank god i waited.

then this weekend i reacted. and now i’m trying desperatly to heal the wounds that i inflicted without cause. why couldn’t i just wait?

i pray that this lesson is learned and i never have to feel the pain of being the rock ever again.
