do I see you…

I found this quote last week:

After Sundays service @SandalsChurch I saw the quote differently.  Here is my re-write based on Pastor Matt’s sermon.

Behind the person I want to be is the one I am… Behind the person I see is the one I wish I could make you see.

a source of joy and inspiration

I spent the afternoon alone at disneyland/california adventure. It was great to just walk around and imagine what this next year is going to look like.
On my way out I stop in one of the shops near the grizzly peak. Met these 2 older ladies who wished me a happy birthday and sang a sweet birthday song for me.
As I was walking around the store I noticed this golden yellow t-shirt. This is what was written:

“To all that come to this happy place: welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America… with hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.” -Walt Disney, 1955
